Thanks for your comment, Jon. Yep, it is no mean feat to tackle the acropolis. When I last saw the stair lift and elevator in use there was a small army (maybe 6 or 7) attendants to help people on and off the "rides". I did not hear of any technical problems in 2004 - maybe someone else did?

Wow,, this is totally awesome. I hope the lift doesn't malfunction while someone riding it. If it does, it looks dangerous to get one off safely.
